Fillmore council approves $53,580 sewer design PO, payroll and bills

The Fillmore City Council on March 24 approved Purchase Order 26-34, payable to Sunrise Engineering in the amount of $53,580.50 for sewer treatment expansion design.
"To approve Purchase Order 26-34 payable to Sunrise Engineering in the amount of $53,580.50 for sewer treatment expansion design," said Councilmember Eugene R. Larsen as he moved the motion, which Councilmember Kyle Stevens seconded and which passed unanimously.
The council also unanimously approved payment of bills on the invoice register dated March 11–24, 2026 and payroll dated March 15, 2026 after a motion by Councilmember Dennis W. Alldredge and a second from Councilmember Stevens. These approvals conclude routine financial items on the agenda before the council proceeded to permit and grant business.
