The Fillmore City Council unanimously adopted Resolution 26-12 on June 23 to amend the fiscal year 2025–26 operating budgets. City Recorder/Administrator Kevin Orton told the council the General Fund amendment increases the budget by "$223,310, from $4,585,440 to $4,808,750," driven by $52,000 in unexpected Class C revenues and $176,000 in additional airport grant funds.
At the same hearing the council approved Purchase Order 26-54 to HMI for $25,945.75 to buy a Versapump with joysticks for sidewalk repairs; the motion carried but Councilmember Amber Rausch cast the lone "no" vote on that purchase order. The council made the budget amendment effective immediately upon adoption.
