Administrator Ritter announced the FY 2026–27 budget will include an item to update the City website and social media accounts to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements; the current website provider does not offer ADA compliance services and the work will be put out to bid. Ritter also noted that new General Services Director Tammy Parker has begun work but lacks written standard operating procedures because the General Services Coordinator is on indefinite leave.
After confirming that action could be taken under the Administrator Update, Council Member Robert "Bob" Jarriel moved and Vice Mayor Monica M. Clark seconded a motion allowing Administrator Ritter to negotiate with former General Services Director Patty Burnette for short‑term consultation services to help onboard the new director. The motion carried unanimously. The minutes record expressions of thanks to outgoing Finance Director India Riedel, who introduced Taylor Connell as her successor; Riedel's retirement is effective March 31, 2026.
