Committee members said Tom Kidder, Steve Gale and Carolyn Marsh attended Recreation Day in Montpelier and met representatives of grant-making groups interested in visiting Tucker Mountain. The committee discussed ways to mark Earth Day (April 11) but made no final decisions, and noted Tucker Mountain Day is scheduled for Aug. 29 to mark the site's 250th anniversary.
The committee also confirmed a Winter Party scheduled for March 3. Members suggested a possible theme for Tucker Mountain Day focused on farming, but no theme was finalized at the Feb. 9 meeting.
