Superintendent Jim Helmen said staff cannot travel to Mist until repairs are finished and that pick‑ups for summer school could be arranged though the bus ride would be considerably longer.
The maintenance report noted the school experienced four water outages this school year. Staff checked the pump and replaced some toilet seals; potential causes discussed included an intermittent refill sensor, float malfunction, or issues tied to older plumbing. Amy Cieloha expressed concern about students being unable to use toilets; Helmen said the district will add portable toilets at Mist next year and will bring another engineer to investigate.
