The Vernonia School District Board unanimously approved Resolution 2025‑04 on June 12, adopting the 2025–26 budget and certifying a tax rate of $5.0121 per $1,000 of assessed value. The adopted budget totals $15,501,234 across all funds, with the General Fund at $10,635,200, the Special Revenue Fund at $3,686,034, Debt Service at $1,180,000 and Capital Projects at $0.
Board member Javoss McGuire moved to approve the budget as presented; Amy Cieloha seconded and the motion passed unanimously with those in attendance. Business Manager Marie Knight had presented the resolutions in the meeting packet and noted enrollment has increased. The board recessed briefly into the budget hearing, during which Greg Kintz reported there were no suggested changes and said the budget committee had approved the plan.
