The council approved five appointment resolutions by unanimous vote on Feb. 17, filling seats across several advisory committees and commissions.
Resolution 867 appointed three members to the Parks and Recreation Committee (one replacing Bill Priser). Resolution 868 reappointed three members to the Blackberry Jam Festival Committee to fill expired terms through Dec. 31, 2025. Resolution 869 filled two expiring Budget Committee seats and included new appointee Pam Kidd, a five-year Lowell resident active in school and community programs; the council noted one Budget Committee seat remains open. Resolution 870 appointed three members to the Library Committee, adding Crystal Gardner to replace a volunteer who wished to continue volunteering but not serve on the committee; an attachment typo listed the name as "Kristen Gartner," which the council said was corrected in the resolution. Resolution 871 reappointed three individuals to the Planning Commission, including Bill Priser.
All five resolutions passed by voice vote with motions moved and seconded (motions and seconders recorded in the minutes). The appointments were entered into the record with no public comment or debate recorded.
