Daggett County commissioners approve routine minutes, contracts and hear clinic update

The Daggett County Commission met July 7 in the county courthouse in Manila and by electronic means. Commissioner Jack Lytle called the meeting to order at 9:04 a.m.; Commissioners Randy Asay and Matt Tippets were recorded as present during the session. Clerk Larinda Isaacson and Auditor Keri Pallesen were also present.
Commissioners approved routine business including minutes and an Open Invoice Register. Auditor Keri Pallesen presented an Open Invoice Register dated July 6, 2026 in the amount of $162,776.64; Commissioner Randy Asay moved to approve the register and Commissioner Jack Lytle seconded. The motion carried. The commission also approved the bus-use agreement for the Tower Rock Run, an LPG tank lease for the new clinic, and three Planning & Zoning appointments. Several items were discussed in updates from staff, including clinic construction and a planned backup generator for the water treatment plant. The commission recessed for a short break and later entered a closed session to discuss purchase, exchange or lease of real property, returning to open session at 11:40 a.m.
