City Administrator Ritter later said staff and Public Works Director Hall will meet with contractor CW Roberts to coordinate the resurfacing work. The council and staff did not set a public start date in the minutes; Ritter noted related project coordination is ongoing in the Administrator update.
The award follows the packet item presented under new business; the grant pays for resurfacing in defined sections of the Commerce Center corridor. The council approved the grant by formal motion during the meeting and voted to move forward with the procurement and project coordination steps. The resurfacing project was also referenced during the Administrator's update when officials said they would meet with CW Roberts about next steps.
