The commission approved an application to install a film-trail marker at the Little Hole overlook honoring filming locations associated with Jeremiah Johnson and other movies. The applicant said the plaque and design were produced and funded by the film commission; the county's only cost would be installation.
"It's designed already ... the only thing we're paying for is just the installation," the applicant said while describing the proposed location at the overlook. Commissioners asked whether buildings-and-grounds or the road crew would perform installation and moved to approve the special-use permit application; the motion carried with a second and voice vote.
