Council approves stop/yield sign changes and plats for River Street Properties Addition

The Milbank City Council approved a traffic-control resolution and accepted a property plat at its Dec. 9 meeting.
Resolution 12-9-24A amends Table II of the Milbank Municipal Code by removing east/west stop signs on 10th Avenue at Washington Drive, adding a stop sign for eastbound traffic on 10th Avenue at Jefferson Drive, and installing a stop sign on Jefferson Drive at 12th Avenue for southbound traffic. The resolution passed 6-0 and the finance officer and mayor attested the action.
The council also approved Resolution 12-9-24, a plat of Lots 1 and 2, River Street Properties Addition, finding it in accordance with SDCL Chapter 11-3. The motion carried 6-0 and the finance officer certified the resolution.
