Nemaha County authorizes pictometry procurement and adopts FY2012–13 budget and levy

On Sept. 12, 2012 Emergency Management Director Renee Critser presented aerial-imagery (pictometry) cost proposals: Option A (one flight over three years) priced at $64,512.50 and Option B (two flights over six years) priced with a first flight at $56,885.00 and a second flight at $62,347.50. The board authorized Critser to pursue Option B and instructed staff to begin contracting.
The board also held public hearings and adopted Resolution 2012-31 (allowable increase to base limitation percent of 2.5% plus 1%), Resolution 2012-32 (FY2012–2013 budget) and Resolution 2012-33 setting the final tax-levy at 0.365975. The board approved several agreements for the sheriff’s office IT services with Action Technology Services and authorized Department of Army permits for multiple bridge projects; motions were carried by roll-call vote.
