At its April 25, 2012 meeting the Board of Equalization approved motor-vehicle exemptions filed on Form 457 for Hearts United for Animals (2011 Chevrolet van), St. James Lutheran Church (2012 Chevrolet) and LL Coryell & Son Park Foundation (1999 Chevrolet pickup). County Treasurer Pat Holtzman presented the applications; minutes record unanimous roll-call votes approving each exemption.
The board approved another motor-vehicle exemption on June 13 for LL Coryell & Son Park Foundation and later authorized a vehicle exemption for Peru State College Foundation (a 2009 Chevrolet) on July 25, 2012; the Peru State College Foundation motion recorded Wittmann as abstaining while Bohling and Hutton voted aye. These actions were recorded as part of regular public hearings on exemptions.
