LBA discusses ADA ramp, search-and-rescue building and library improvements

Board members discussed expected upcoming bills and several possible projects during the June 16 meeting, including the Huntington Senior Center ADA ramp, a potential search-and-rescue building, a fair/way station and library improvement work.
When asked about bills to be paid, a staff speaker said, "We should have we should start seeing some on Huntington Senior on the the new ADA ramp and some of those things, but, I haven't had anything for a little while ongoing." The comment indicated invoices for the ADA ramp and related work may appear soon but that, as of the meeting, no bills were pending.
Members also mentioned a possible search-and-rescue facility and a fair/way station, but one committee member said they had not pursued the fair/way station item because the building is still under construction and so the project remains at an early stage. The board noted it meets quarterly and that many of these items are preliminary and require follow-up before budgetary decisions are made.
