Village to review sludge‑removal options; Agri‑Sludge rep to provide cost estimates

Mayor Bob Jarvis told council that he, the village engineer and others met with an Agri‑Sludge representative on Oct. 16 to discuss options and methods for removing sludge from the wastewater facility. The company will provide cost estimates for budgeting purposes.
Jarvis also reported that the current sludge level is approximately "12 to 18 inches below the water level," a measurement he said would inform budgeting and removal method choices. Council did not vote on any procurement or expenditure at the meeting.
