The Calhoun County Independent School District board unanimously approved its consent agenda at the Jan. 20 regular meeting, adopting the Order of Election for May 2, 2026 and accepting the November 2025 financial statement.
Board members also approved Policy Update 126, which affects a broad set of LOCAL policies including BE(LOCAL) Board Meetings, CQ(LOCAL) Technology Resources and multiple personnel and student-welfare policies. A motion by Vinson Phillips, seconded by Dominic Robles, carried with all seven trustees voting aye.
The minutes list the consent package items by policy code. The election order sets the May 2, 2026 date and will be followed by the district’s normal candidate filing and election procedures. The board did not discuss amendments to the individual policies during the motion; the motion consolidated those updates into a single consent approval.
