CCISD awards $3.825M contract for plumbing repairs beneath Calhoun High School

CCISD Maintenance Director Joe Hernandez told trustees that bids were solicited for plumbing repairs beneath Calhoun High School and that Striddle, Callins & Associates recommended awarding the work to Weaver & Jacobs Constructors, Inc. as the best value at $3,825,000.00, to be paid from 2023 bond funds.
Bill Shrader moved and Dominic Robles seconded the motion to approve the contract and to authorize the superintendent to sign on the district’s behalf. The motion carried 6-0.
