The Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to close the public hearing and table a design‑exception request for the Custer Frontier Marketplace after staff reported a notification error. Jake Bennett, planner with the city of McKinney, told the commission the application must be re‑noticed and will return to the P&Z agenda for a future meeting.
"There is a notification error, so we will re‑notice, and this will be back on the agenda for the September 9 P and Z meeting," Bennett said. With no applicant present and no public commenters, the commission moved to table the item and arranged for the application to be re‑noticed and placed on the September agenda before it is forwarded to city council. The commission recorded a 7‑0 vote to table the request.
