Applicant Ronnie Rushing said the single-story professional building will use hardy board and stone accents, include a front porch and preserve an existing pecan tree. "We plan to do a hardy board along with some stone," Rushing said, adding the design minimizes disturbance to existing trees and includes an 8-foot fence and curb to prevent runoff to neighboring properties. Commissioners asked for articulation and consistency with surrounding elevations; the commission voted 6–0 to approve the site plan and variances as presented.
