The Planning & Zoning Commission approved a preliminary plat for Racket Club South Section 6, a replat to combine and adjust lot lines on Racquet Club Drive.
Planner Madeline Hawkes said the applicant (C.R. Land Surveying) seeks to combine existing lots and adjust lines to create three buildable lots out of approximately 1.126 acres. The site is currently zoned PD for housing development and is designated in Tall City Tomorrow as urban residential low; staff recommended approval with conditions and reported no objections.
Applicant Mark Whelan, the project architect representing the applicants, told the commission that one existing building will be demolished to create a buildable outlot and that the replat corrects odd historic lot lines. Commissioner Laphoy moved to approve the request; Commissioner Barry seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The approval was conditioned on the standard items set out by staff; additional engineering and permitting will follow.
