Senior planner Brett Murray responded that drainage and flood issues are typically addressed during the platting process and that final plat review will require submittals on drainage. The applicant said the project includes a "very substantial retention and detention basin" that should improve existing runoff conditions. After discussion the commission voted to approve the zoning request with staff conditions.
