Commission welcomes new member and recognizes Faith Wellness Services' Juneteenth work

Commissioner Xavier Charles introduced himself and said he brings construction and development experience to the commission and will continue priorities consistent with the region’s master plan. Commissioners also acknowledged Faith Wellness Services Incorporated and its multi-year organization of a free Juneteenth community event at Craig Ranch Park, thanking the organization and asking those present to stand. Staff reminded commissioners the agenda is posted in Spanish and Tagalog in accordance with Nevada law.
The meeting then opened a second public forum (no speakers) and adjourned.
