Board hears Sunset Subcommittee notification and selection process overview

At the Jan. 12 meeting the Nevada State Board of Podiatry received a notification that it will be reviewed by the Legislative Commission’s Sunset Subcommittee. Executive Director Carolyn J. Cramer opened the item and explained the Board had been notified; Rocky Finseth of Carrara Nevada provided additional detail about the selection process. Senior Deputy Attorney General Henna Rasul and Executive Director Cramer answered board members’ questions.
The Board treated the item as informational; no formal motions or votes were taken on the Sunset Subcommittee notification during this meeting. Staff will return further information if required by the commission’s process.
