Attorney asks council to reassign courthouse parking permits as construction begins

Council staff acknowledged the request and said they would 'have a conversation with Jeff' and follow up with Kordick to find a solution for staff and attorneys who need nearby parking during the courthouse construction. The utilities and public-works presentation later included discussion of additional temporary parking and signage options for court users.
No formal council vote occurred on permit reassignment during the work session; staff indicated follow-up with clerks, the sheriff's office and nearby property owners to identify short-term parking solutions.
