At the council's "privilege of the floor," resident Lorenzo White described an error in which a water bill remained in his name after he sold a property in October. White told the council he was charged for a bill tied to a property where his son lives and said he could not initially figure out why the charge remained.
White said he contacted Councilor Lowe, who helped explain the law and assisted in resolving the matter: "I got a hold of Councilman Lowe, and he explained it to me and everything… So, we went and took care of it," White said at the podium. The council chair thanked White for bringing the matter to the meeting.
