Sensory Circle founder asks Lima City Council for meeting space and support

"Our goal is simple, to build a supportive community right here in Lima, where families can come together," Newland said. She announced the group's first meet-and-greet at the public library on April 15 from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Councilors asked for contact information and offered to route her handouts through the clerk so the council could follow up. Councilor Lowe said she would collect printed materials and Councilor Glenn and others offered personal support.
Next steps: Newland will provide contact information to the clerk so council members can be connected; she will return with additional details as the group's social media is developed.
