Committee approves $340,348 pump-station purchase for Sykes-Lady golf course

Melchior said the golf courses use irrigation ponds and have not purchased irrigation water; he explained the new pump station is the third such installation and is expected to restore reliable irrigation. The committee moved, seconded and approved the agreement with the vendor for $340,348 by voice vote. Staff said finance details and operating impacts will be presented with the annual golf-fund report in May.
