The Plainview City Council approved the consent calendar, which included excused absences for Councilmembers Dickerson, Martinez and Garcia and approval of minutes from two prior meetings. "If there's no request from the council to remove any item from this calendar," Mayor Moore said as he called for the motion; Councilmember Rascon made the motion and Councilmember House seconded.
The city secretary announced a unanimous vote in favor. The approval cleared routine business and allowed the council to proceed to ordinance and agenda items for the evening.
