Master Naturalists report on Mockingbird Nature Park signage, multilingual use

The presenter described outreach activities (presentations to a regional chapter, a farmers market presence, a scout introduction, and an upcoming dedication at the Waxahachie High School water garden) and said the team upgraded signs to a waterproof plasticized material. They reported analytics from the system showing English as the predominant language but noted use by German, Spanish and Japanese speakers. The project team is cycling signs to match seasonal plantings and reported the most interest at a small garden area called Sarah’s garden.
Chair and board members thanked the presenters for the update and praised volunteer efforts.
