At its June 3 meeting the Middletown Township Planning Commission took the following formal actions:
- Approved minutes of the March 4 meeting (voice vote).
- Recommended approval of the George School Campus Conceptual Master Plan for the property at 1690 Langhorne Newtown Road, conditioned on the master plan approval agreement being satisfactory to the township solicitor.
- Recommended approval of an amended final land development for Neshaminy Springs (66‑unit townhome community at 1700 Woodburn Road) to add 15 streetlights, conditioned on compliance with township consultant review letters (Remington & Vernick; Pennoni; EAC) and plan revisions.
- Recommended approval of preliminary and final land development for a 7 Brew 2‑lane drive‑through at Langhorne Square (1281 East Lincoln Highway), conditioned on addressing traffic easement items and installing two pedestrian stub poles to meet ADA standards and on satisfying township consultant and county review comments.
- Recommended an amendment to the zoning ordinance to permit keeping and raising chickens in RA and R and certain residential zones; the recommendation is expressly conditioned on an annual licensing and inspection program to be developed by township staff and on addressing Bucks County Planning Commission comments.
All recommendations now move to the Board of Supervisors for further review or action. Where staff or consultants listed required plan revisions or review letters, the commission’s recommendations were conditional on resolving those items before final approvals.
