County staff: Horizon, FM 549 and FM 550 agreements sent for auditor review, targeted for April 7 agenda

During questions after the presentation, Commissioner Lickley asked county staff about contract status for several road projects. A staff member said multiple agreements have been placed with the county auditor and requested for agenda placement once legal review and the auditor's review are complete.
"We've placed several of them in the hands of the auditor... We've requested them to be placed on your agenda," the staff member said, identifying Horizon, FM 549 and FM 550 supplemental agreements as items the auditor is reviewing for potential placement on the April 7 agenda.
Staff also discussed the Crenshaw Road letting (phase 2) and noted the last parcel reimbursement process and potential involvement of Royce City to fund the final parcel. The staff response emphasized that some items are still awaiting consultant scope/fee details or TxDOT review before being ready for letting.
On procurement sequencing, staff said a new RFQ will be considered only after current queue items progress, and listed FM2453 as part of a second RFQ batch. No formal votes or contract awards were taken during the meeting; the report was informational and staff requested commissioners' support to coordinate agenda timing.
