Commission approves Southern Meadows clubhouse, pool and trails plan

The Planning Commission voted to approve both a preliminary and final development plan for the Southern Meadows clubhouse and pool (PDP 2025‑34 and DEV 2025‑64). Staff described a roughly 4,000 square‑foot clubhouse with surrounding amenities — a junior competition pool, pickleball and basketball courts, a playground, a hammock garden and conceptual mountain‑bike trails — and 55 parking spaces with access from 186th Street. The plans include landscape preservation and a City‑reserved greenway linkage tract.
Tim Tucker (Phelps Engineering) said the applicant worked with staff on the revised stipulations; commissioners praised the amenity package and approved both the preliminary and final plans subject to the revised stipulations (votes 10‑0). The commission noted staff will review architectural details and materials during final plan review, and required the applicant to meet the revised stipulation list.
