Council unanimously approved an interlocal cooperation agreement with the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) to relocate a 14‑inch potable water main that conflicted with the planned FM 544 pedestrian bridge.
Staff said the interlocal agreement outlines responsibilities for construction and inspection, insurance requirements and procedures for resolving conflicts that may arise during the relocation. The agreement follows prior council‑approved easement work on the project and staff recommended approval.
A council member moved to approve the interlocal agreement; the motion was seconded and passed unanimously. Staff will proceed with coordination with NTMWD under the terms of the agreement.
