Commission approves replat for 141 North Murphy Road to create two lots

The Planning and Zoning Commission voted to approve a replat application from Palatine Investment Group for property described as Lot 1, Block A, Full Spectrum Place at 141 North Murphy Road. Staff said the filing included only minor changes to a fire lane and an added legal note clarifying shared access easements, which the applicant’s attorney recommended.
Representing Palatine, Ruth Onanubu told the commission the split was intended to separate tax liability and make the vacant parcel easier to offer for sale and development. "Splitting it out will just help to at least keep this separate in taxes," Onanubu said. Staff indicated the most recent resubmittal corrected typos and that the Fire Marshal had approved the changes presented in the resubmission. A motion to approve the replat passed without further recorded conditions.
