Council appoints two to TIRZ board

City Secretary Crystal Roan presented staff recommendations and the council appointed Jerry Thayo to TIRZ position 3 and Michael Jackson to position 10 for terms to expire Dec. 31, 2027. The council voted unanimously to approve the appointments after Crystal Roan said both candidates had applied and were available to serve.
Council made the appointments with a motion and second; no member objected. Staff will complete the formal appointment paperwork and update commission rosters.
