The Statewide Independent Living Council of Illinois convened its quarterly meeting on Feb. 4, 2026, with Chair Hershel Jackson calling the meeting to order at 10:32 a.m. The Council approved the minutes of Nov. 12, 2025 after a motion by John Paschedag and second by Riley Anderson. Financial Manager Tara Dunning presented financial reports for October, November and December 2025; a motion to approve those reports was made by Saul Morse, seconded by Eric Brown, and carried.
Jackson told members he completed and submitted the annual Program Performance Report (PPR) in collaboration with the Department of Human Services, and noted ongoing committee and stakeholder engagement supporting the State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL). The meeting record shows the Council adjourned at 2:32 p.m.; minutes were later signed by Secretary Riley Anderson and marked "APPROVED MAY 6, 2026."
