The Santa Rosa County Board approved multiple consent items intended to maintain utilities, advance construction and support grant‑funded projects.
Staff explained a cooperative purchase with Imperium Data for phone‑system hardware and software in the amount of $315,923.80 (first‑year cost approximately $111,000). The board also approved Core & Main software/equipment upgrades for water meters ($142,988.20) to allow remote reads, and accepted the lowest quotes from Pensacola Concrete Company for rehabilitation of Lift Station No. 4 ($94,822.14) and Lift Station No. 9 ($91,390.78). The board authorized contracts for disaster debris monitoring and disaster debris removal services and approved a grant amendment to extend the project period for the County Road 182 widening and resurfacing design to Dec. 31, 2026.
Staff also reported approval of a $71,895 increase from FDEM for the Ranchettes project and recognized $34,227 in grant revenue for water‑quality monitoring under a federal DEP subaward. Commissioners approved the items without extended discussion and asked staff to proceed with contracting and execution.
