Stacy said the original budget was about $7.1 million and he expects the project to come in near $7.0 million barring unforeseen conditions; he noted owners' allowances of approximately $290,000 will be moved into the contract and an expected furniture cost of about $520,000 remains to be ordered. "We are not over budget at all," Stacy said, adding that the project is behind schedule by about 90 days.
Later agenda items presented multiple contract actions: terminating the Bridal contract, approving an AIA amendment with Park Hill for additional owner-rep services ($74,000), approving PCOs 19–30 to SCI Construction and adopting Official Change Order No. 1 to reallocate owner's allowances into contractor contingency. Each motion carried 5–0. The court flagged the need for greater clarity on allowances and for internal processes to better handle pay requests and engineer approvals during closeout.
Next steps: staff will finalize the OCO, return with furniture purchase details and continue to track evidence relocation and dispatch relocation milestones.
