Somerset Academy Lady Lions honored at North Las Vegas council meeting

The mayor read the team roster and coaches, and council members offered congratulations and remarks about youth development.
A team representative told the council, “We just wanna thank you guys so much, and we're just so happy to be able to bring home the state championship to North Vegas,” and thanked the city for inviting the team. Council members highlighted the role of coaches and parents and encouraged local residents to attend youth sports and support school programs.
