During the May 26 meeting Mayor Robert Geissman told council that the zoning inspector requested sidewalk repairs at 131 Harris Street and 210 Prospect Street and recommended placing assessments on those property taxes to recover costs; Village Solicitor Ted Lesiak will be asked to outline the required steps.
The mayor also reported the Church Street resurfacing project will begin this summer with partial grant funding and that he has not yet received a quote to replace steps in Lodi Community Park that lead to Park Street. He said research shows there is no recorded deed restriction on village property on West Drive and suggested rezoning the parcel to an Industrial Zoning District to align with adjacent parcels; he will request a quote from the village engineering firm to update the zoning map. The mayor additionally discussed potentially annexing the Harris Road warehouse parcel into the village to enable a future sale and use of proceeds to purchase parking near Richman Field.
