Program manager says Treasury accepted MYIP amendment; $17.6M allocated of $21M trust

The program manager told the Restore Council that amendment No. 3 to Santa Rosa County’s multiyear implementation plan was submitted to and formally accepted by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. She said the amendment deobligated two projects — the North Santa Rosa wastewater treatment facility construction and the Yafaal Outfall project — and added the Blackwater River Effluent Relocation Project.
She gave financial context for the plan: “in total, the total allocation of all of the projects within the multiyear implementation plan is about $17,600,000 worth of allocation, for all the projects on that plan, out of the $21,000,000 that we currently have available in the trust funds,” she said. She also reported a Treasury site review of the Tiger Point wastewater treatment facility expansion found the county in full compliance.
