The court entered executive session to discuss pending litigation and personnel matters and reconvened in open session to take actions authorized under the Open Meetings Act. Commissioner Lichty moved to approve an engagement letter with the firm Oldham, Clement & Noga; the court approved the engagement. He then moved to approve the attorney employment agreement with Taylor Olson Adkins Sralla & Elam for representation in a vaping-related lawsuit; that motion also passed.
Both motions passed unanimously. The law firms will proceed under the terms presented to the court and report back as required by county procedures.
