Court approves Granicus Peak for agendas and minutes; VoteCast voting feature tabled for demonstration

The Commissioner's Court approved a move to Granicus Peak for agenda management and minutes workflow at the recommendation of the County Clerk; the solution will be paid from the County Clerk's Record Management Fund (Fund 57). County Clerk Fogg said Granicus Peak offers ADA compliance, HTML-accessible backups and automation that can route agenda items to legal and auditor review.
"This software allows me to go in there and do my minutes at the same time as having the agenda process in place," said County Clerk Fogg. Commissioners asked about training and public-record implications of commissioners’ personal annotations in the system. Fogg said personal notes can be managed and that VoteCast is optional; the court approved Granicus Peak 5–0.
On VoteCast — a related web solution that lets commissioners cast votes and request to speak from devices — several commissioners requested a hands-on demonstration before voting to adopt the feature set. Commissioner Lickty asked for a show-and-tell and said she wanted to see the application before approving an $8,130 annual VoteCast license; the court agreed to take no action on VoteCast pending demonstrations and additional review.
