Commissioner Lichty produced a restrictive draft resolution and later withdrew it after legal counsel warned the posted agenda notice did not encompass the broader limits the draft would impose.
Commissioners emphasized they want better road delivery and clearer procedures in future agendas and procurement, but a majority opposed abrupt termination without a vetted replacement and requested more transparency and a deliberate RFQ or interview process for professional services.
No formal termination motion was passed; the court left the matter to future meetings after additional legal and procurement review.
