Brenda (county staff) clarified the parcel purchase will be paid from 2008 bond proceeds with some costs apportioned across later bond funding; she described the overall funding as roughly split between prior ('08) and more recent ('21) bond issuances.
The court approved acting on the MOA contingent on auditor and legal review (motion passed 5–0). The commissioners then voted 5–0 to put construction bidding for Crenshaw Road East out to bid and to advance required engineering contracting steps.
County staff said the next steps are right-of-way acquisition paperwork, finalizing funding sources, and preparing bid documents so that the county can advertise and solicit contractor proposals. The court emphasized that legal and auditor review should sign off on purchase agreements before closing on property acquisitions.
