Items on the consent agenda included a request by Pantry Apartments LLC (on behalf of Chanmeet Singh LLC) for a special-use permit to allow multi-family dwellings at 3060 and 3090 Pine Tree Drive (parts ID 059010806 and 059010807 in the B-2 General Commercial District); ordinances authorizing vacation of a right-of-way to support the new courthouse; and ordinances granting Dominion Power easements for overhead and underground power to support the new courthouse. The agenda also included a first read and schedule of a public hearing for amendments to the FY26 General Fund, Grants Fund and Golf Fund.
A motion to approve the consent agenda was moved, seconded, and carried on a roll-call vote with all members recorded in favor. Council did not debate the individual items at length during the work session; the items were set for subsequent hearings as required by ordinance.
