Representatives from the Northeast Partnership presented a Thunderbirds lithograph to the council to thank Universal City for its ongoing support of the Randolph Air Force Base air shows.
The presenter said the VIP tent and volunteer support help bring the Thunderbirds back to the area and noted the program's role in showcasing the community. "So with that said, I'd like to present y'all...this is wonderful," a councilmember said while accepting the gift.
The presenter added that the Thunderbirds plan to return in future seasons, and the council thanked the organizers for the event and the community partnership.
