On second reading, the council postponed consideration of Ordinance No. 536-A-2026, which would amend chapters governing telecommunications rights-of-way management, utility standards, and relocation requirements.
A councilmember moved to postpone the ordinance pending review of comments provided by AT&T and Spectrum and review by the city attorney. The motion was seconded and passed by voice vote.
City staff will collect provider comments and the city attorney's recommendations and return the ordinance for council consideration after those reviews are completed.
