Council approves revised US 80 waterline construction change order and a KSA design amendment funded from utility reserves

Staff then presented Amendment 1 to the design contract with KSA. Council members asked where additional funds would come from; a finance staff member said the council had previously approved $6.5 million toward the project and that the enterprise utility fund has approximately $8 million in fund balance (about $6 million unreserved), and that the additional $628,000 would be covered from that fund balance. Council approved the design amendment (vote 7-0).
