Chair opened the meeting and asked staff to reconcile apparent anomalies in revenue posting and to provide updated numbers ahead of a planned public hearing. County staff told commissioners the 10‑day notice requirement means the board could hold the hearing at the next scheduled meeting if the required advertisement is posted in time. “I would say we can do it at your next meeting, but we need to be able to advertise a public hearing with the correct time on it,” staff said.
Commissioners asked staff to provide clarified fund balances, reconciled journal entries, and any corrected line-item detail before the hearing so the published version reflects departmental line items rather than only fund totals. Staff committed to running the requested reports and to circulating proposed changes to the commissioners before the hearing. The meeting adjourned after the motion to do so passed on a 5‑0 vote.
